Agnieszka Słońska-Więcek born on October 27, 1976 in Krakow. A student of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Krakow. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology (diploma under Prof. Barbara Bartkowicz). “My works are inspired by emotions and senses… atmosphere, smell, temperature… I want the viewer to feel: heat, frost, wind speed, the smell of the sea, the noise of aircraft engines. I like dynamics. Second frame held for eternity. My goal is not to show off with a painting technique, but to evoke emotions in the viewer so that they feel anxious about the approaching storm, or on the contrary … peace of mind … sadness .. grief .. or … ready to play … or the darkness of the room with torn curtains through which it creeps in daylight has come. I like to observe how the changing light allows us to interpret the atmosphere of the same places in different ways. „
