Moim celem nie jest popisywanie się techniką malarska lecz wywołanie emocji w widzu tak, aby poczuł niepokój z powodu nadciągającej burzy, lub przeciwnie… święty spokój… smutek ..żal.. lub… gotowość do zabawy… albo ciemność pokoju z podartymi zasłonami przez które wkrada się światło dnia. Lubię obserwować, jak zmieniające się światło pozwala nam różnie interpretować atmosferę tych samych miejsc.”

Agnieszka Słońska-Więcek born in 27.10.1976, Cracow. Student at the High School of Fine Arts in Cracow. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology (diploma under Prof. Barbara Bartkowicz). “My works are inspired by emotions and senses … atmosphere, smell, temperature … I want the observer to feel: heat, frost, wind speed, the smell of the sea, the noise of aircraft engines. I like dynamics. The second frame kept for eternity.

My goal is not to show off painting technique but to awake emotions in the viewer so that he feels anxiety because of the approaching storm, or on the contrary … holy peace … sadness … sorrow … or … readiness to play … or the darkness of the room with torn curtains through which it creeps daylight. I like to see how the changing light allows us to interpret the atmosphere of the same places differently.
