Painting, that speaks something...
Personal inner vision matters more than painting's topic. It reflects my attitude to life, to reality, to the present day and maybe to the future. Creativity is not secluded. It combines other field of art; music or literature, integrates modern inventions, enriched by influence experiences and sensations. In my content big part is being played by intuition; they are impressions of what I know, and what I imagine. You can paint what you see, what you know or what you feel. I think that I try to paint the last thing, what I feel. Thanks to that my works gain gentleness, mystery, they require concentration and reverie. They aren't too legible at first glance for recipient. I want people, when they look at my paintings, they didn't necessarily understand, but shared some sort of joy with me. Without this feeling it's not worth doing anything. Following my promoter, an extraordinary professor Kazimierz Ostrowski, I confess the view, that it's less important what you're doing, more important is how you do it. Every person, in this profession at least, should have an inner flame, that gives the capability of meeting our expectations. Without the inner flame everything flattens out, becomes gray, leads into a dead end of void until non-existence. Currently i try to paint, using my new way of seeing, new skills, knowledge and love, however, remaining true to myself and the object. What's most valuable in creativity, in the artist's approach to it, is the morality of the artist. You can't cheat in art. In art there are certain composition elements, paint structure, brush strokes, that make a piece of canvas seem magical like a window to another world. And that's what attracts me, discovering other worlds. It has to do with one moment in time, one place, seen by one man, me. Although it's something more than a window overlooking the place of imagination, beauty, excitement. I'm trying to improve, so that illusion of light and space became truth. Once painting is finished, I compare it to the last one. I see the difference, a change. However, I cannot say to what extent reality has changed and to what extent it has changed in me.
